I was born into generations of family deeply involved with horses and began riding before I could walk. I competed throughout Australia for many years before travelling to the USA to train and compete.
I absolutely love working with young or uneducated horses and witnessing their trust, confidence and softness develop as they begin their ridden education. Horses captivate me with their immense majesty, power, sensitivity and honest presence. I am driven by a deep curiosity and desire to explore and develop true, deep partnerships with these amazing creatures.
My advice to young riders is to NEVER stop learning – observe, study, reflect. Open your mind to different approaches. Be kind and always try to see the world and yourself from the perspective of the horse.
