VIC
Hi I’m Bethany Dyson and I’m an equestrian rider from South West Victoria. In 2026 my goals are to create a better skill set with my current horses and stepping up my performance while also continuing to develop each horse thoughtfully and with purpose. I’m aiming to ride more confident rounds and strengthen my endurance.
This year I hope to take Junior (My Custom Made) a 16h Clydie x thoroughbred to Victorian Interschools state championships held at Boneo and take him to a few competitions in the 2026 season competing around 90-1m.
I am very lucky to be able to ride a friend’s horse Ruben (Rubilicious) 16h Friesian x warmblood. Competing at local events and major events including Victoria Interschool State Championship competing around 95-105cm continuing to enjoy him and I have been lucky enough to ride him for the last 12 mouths.
My thoroughbred Archie (Say Something) is a 16.1h currently jumping 95-105cm, we have had a long partnership together and hope to continue what he loves competing at local competitions through the season.
In 2026 I am lucky enough to enrol in VET equine studies through my school which I hope it enables me to increase my knowledge to have a stronger understanding of working with horses, with a comprehensive training in horse handling, health care, and equine behaviour.
