Goal: My name is Bethany, I am a 19-year-old event rider from South Australia! I have a strong passion for horses and eventing. I am incredibly lucky to be able to compete with my amazing horse, GE Chicago, (Scooby.) Who I am both proud and grateful to own, he is my childhood dream horse! Our partnership is something I truly cherish.
Currently, we’re competing in EVA80 eventing and 95 show jumping. My short-term goals are to step up to EVA95 eventing and 1m Showjumping this year. My long-term goal is to make it to 2*. Scooby is a horse with great potential, together we’ve been working hard to improve our skills and performance in all 3 phases of eventing. I enjoy training hard and working through every challenge that it brings!
Over the last 9 months of owning Scoob I have learnt so much from him, and our journey together is just beginning. With the support of Barastoc, I’m determined to keep moving forward, aiming for new goals and pushing myself to achieve even greater success in the sport, while making the most of every moment with Scoob as my partner.
I am proud to represent Barastoc as I continue to grow in my riding career!
