Location: Highvale, Queensland
I grew up in a non-horsey family but started riding as a teenager and found my passion for dressage early on. After school I studied at university on and off but kept training and competing horses and made trips to Europe where my skill and passion grew. After completing my psychology degree I continued to train, compete and coach riders and then started my breeding and training stable “Highfields Sporthorses”.
I love the journey from conception of our mares to, raising the foals, starting them and training them for the dressage big sport. I also love training dedicated and switched on riders at any level.
Inspiration
My advice for young riders is to allow yourself to follow your curiosity. And don’t be in a rush! Learn your craft before trying to start your own business.
