Lucy is part of our customer service team. She started riding when she was 5 years old. Majoring in Genetics and Nutrition when she completed her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Agricultural Science, her passion has led her to pursue a career in the industry, managing stables prior to joining us in our customer service team, looking after Victoria. Lucy rides almost every day and has trained a newly broken horse up to prix St George level.

Born in the western district of Victoria on a Sheep, Cattle and cropping farm, horses were part of the day to day operation of the farm. Andrew’s parents started a small breeding operation that lead to importing a stallion from USA. Andrew became involved in Pony Club and from there became a keen competitor having success at many levels including representing Australia as a Team member of the Quarter Horse Youth World Cup and following on becoming a coach of an Australian team. From finishing school Andrew became a Carpenter but was drawn back to the horse industry to run a small stud and training centre in Whittlesea. Andrew moved onto his on training business of show horses and spent many years as a Flying Groom.
Allayne is a member of the nutrition team having graduated with a Bachelor of Agriculture, majoring in Equine Science and a Graduate Diploma in Animal Science (Ruminant Nutrition). She draws on her previous knowledge working as a Senior Veterinary Nurse and the importance nutrition plays in general health and performance. Her passion for horses is evident from her career working as a polo groom in Australia and England as well as working with racehorses.
'I first became interested in equine nutrition while working with polo ponies and studying equine exercise physiology and nutrition at University. Working in the Veterinary Industry I also realised the importance that nutrition plays in the performance of the animal and preventing metabolic disorders.'
Bringing more than nine years international and domestic experience and expertise, along with a degree in Science and Agriculture, Tarryn is also a qualified equine nutritionist. Joining the team from abroad, Tarryn’s studies have spanned both equine nutrition as well as management.
Never shying away from a challenge, Tarryn's Master’s thesis focused on African Horse Sickness, a notifiable disease that has afflicted the South African horse industry for years. “The heart of a horse’s wellbeing is good nutrition”
Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything Craig does both professionally and personally. Being accepted as a trusted advisor by his clients is a privilege he takes very seriously. Craig has a well-earned reputation for being honest, practical and uncomplicated.
After 13 years as an equine specialist for Barastoc, and a lifetime of experience with horses, Craig has the knowledge and expertise to offer on-farm consultation, problem-solving and advisory services to owners, breeders and competitors at all levels.

Craig’s educational background includes a certificate in Equine Nutrition from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh.

Craig and his family live on their farm in NSW. They have competed in numerous disciplines over the years and are currently breeding and competing Australian Stock Horses and Warmbloods. Craig is also an accredited judge of the Australian Stock Horse Society, and is an active member of the NSW Rural Fire Service, accredited as a firefighter and response driver. When there’s some free time he loves to play Guitar with his mates, usually playing at their local café.
Sabrina brings with her a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture (Major in Production Animal Health). Her passion for animals is coupled with her experience at Collingwood Children’s Farm, Mainstream Aquaculture, and Melbourne University Dookie Campus Farm. Growing up in Romsey Vic, surrounded by horses and livestock from a young age Sabrina is passionate about the health, welfare and nutrition of animals, especially horses. “Working with the Nutrition team at Ridley, I am surrounded by passionate, like minded and hardworking individuals. The level of care, dedication and knowledge that the Equine Nutritionists provide to Ridley is something that I aspire to be part of in the future”
Born and raised in South East Queensland, John’s earliest memories of horses started with his father racing Quarter Horses and from a very young age he inherited a love of the animal. John worked on cattle stations in Queensland’s Channel Country during his school holidays and not too many days went by where he was not on a horses back. In his late teens he became heavily involved in harness racing and to this day it is a sport he holds very close to his heart. John has also owned shares in many thoroughbred racehorses and is a keen form and breeding analyst. John and his family live on their property in Queensland’s Somerset region where time permitting, he enjoys rehabilitating retired racehorses.
