Tess Lawrence
Tess grew up on her family farm in Barmedman, NSW, where her passion for horses began at an early age. This led her to study Horse Husbandry and Agriculture at Tocal Agricultural College.
After graduating in 2009, Tess began her career in the thoroughbred industry. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience across all areas of the thoroughbred stud industry in Australia, along with valuable time working internationally in China and the USA.
In 2019, Tess returned to Australia and began shifting her focus towards equine nutrition. Driven by a genuine passion for helping horses perform at their best, she is dedicated to finding the right diet for every horse—regardless of discipline or level.
While her primary focus is supporting the racing industry, Tess enjoys working with all horse owners to improve their horses’ health, performance, and wellbeing through tailored nutrition.
In late 2025, Tess joined the Barastoc team, where she continues to combine her industry experience with her passion for equine nutrition.
