Who supported you in the early days? I was brought up in the country and aunt was who supported me and encouraged me to follow my dream.
What are some of the memories you look back on and smile about? Winning the 50th Garryowen on my fabulous horse Picasso which was one of the 6 events I won in this class.
How did you get started in the industry and who inspired you? Vince Corvi was my inspiration such a complete horseman.
What Barastoc feeds are you currently using? We feed a great variety of Barastoc feeds because every horse or pony has different needs we use Calm Performer for most horses ,Breed and Grow for our youngstock, Supreme is a fantastic for our thoroughbreds as is a complete feed without too much heat also use equibix for ponies as we have to be very careful with protein with them and Fibre-beet is a great conditioner and helps with dust.
What do you look back on and wish you had done differently – what advice do you have for other riders? Always look at oneself to correct a problem do look to blame the horse or someone I like to put horse away and put thought to solving the problem time is a wonderful thing don’t hesitate to ask for advice.
What are some approaches to troubleshooting some common training and horse problems within your chosen Equine Discipline?
Had more education instead of being a horse mad teenager everyday you learn and listening is the hardest art to learn someone can always teach you something.
